This intervention redefines the domestic space through a balance between continuity and transformation. The project opens the house towards the garden, bringing light, depth and calm into the main living areas through a restrained language. Rather than relying on expressive gestures, the design works through proportion, material clarity and the careful framing of space and views.
At the heart of the project, a generous living room is shaped by large openings, a warm timber ceiling and a sequence of thickened thresholds that give the interior both presence and softness. The structure is deliberately legible: timber beams and black steel elements establish a measured rhythm, while white walls, oak surfaces and stone details create a quiet and tactile atmosphere. The result is an interior that feels at once spacious, grounded and intimate.
On the exterior, the intervention combines a solid mineral base with a lighter upper volume, reinforcing the dialogue between permanence and openness. Large windows and sliding glazed doors extend the domestic landscape outward, turning the surrounding trees and seasonal light into an active part of the house. The project ultimately proposes a way of living that is serene, durable and deeply connected to its setting.
